Welcome to Bridge City Pulse. By accessing or using BridgeCityPulse.com and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website and services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using our services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Services

Bridge City Pulse provides website design, development, hosting, and management services for Saskatchewan businesses. Our services include:

• Launch Site Package: One-time website design and development
• Managed Website Package: Ongoing website hosting and management
• Growth Partner Package: Comprehensive website and marketing support

Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are outlined in your service agreement or project scope.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information through our intake process
• Respond to requests for feedback or clarification in a timely manner
• Supply content, images, logos, and other materials needed for your project
• Ensure you have legal rights to all content you provide
• Make payments according to the agreed schedule
• Use our services in compliance with all applicable laws

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you provide (text, images, logos, trademarks). By providing content, you grant us a license to use, reproduce, and modify it as necessary to deliver your project.

Our Work

Upon full payment, you own the final website design and custom code created specifically for your project. However, we retain rights to:

• Pre-existing tools, templates, frameworks, and code libraries
• General knowledge, techniques, and methodologies
• Portfolio use (with your permission)

5. Payment Terms

Participation in the Bridge City Pulse free website campaign requires an upfront $50 payment representing the first month of hosting and maintenance. No website build work begins until payment is successfully received. Hosting is billed monthly at $50. No build fees are charged.

For non-campaign services, payment terms are as follows:

• Launch Site: 50% deposit upfront, 50% due upon delivery
• Managed Packages: Monthly billing on the anniversary of your start date
• Late Payments: Services may be suspended for accounts overdue by more than 15 days

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

One-Time Projects

Initial deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. If you cancel after delivery, no refund is provided.

Managed Services

You may cancel anytime after the minimum term (typically 3 months). Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 15 days before your next billing date. No partial refunds are provided for the current billing period.

7. Service Level and Delivery

We aim to deliver projects within the stated timeline (typically 5 business days for Launch Sites). Timelines may be extended if you do not provide required information or feedback promptly. While we strive for 99.9% uptime for hosted sites, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bridge City Pulse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Bridge City Pulse harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

10. Third-Party Services

Our services may integrate with third-party platforms (hosting providers, analytics tools, payment processors). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services if you violate these Terms, fail to make payments, or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Saskatchewan.
